Macy Chiasson is a 28-year-old American mixed martial artist and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt from New Orleans, LA. She was the The Ultimate Fighter 28 Women's Featherweight winner and currently competes in the UFC Women's Bantamweight division. As of Oct 2019, she is #12 in the official UFC bantamweight rankings (6-1-0).

Chiasson's mixed martial arts journey began at the age of 19 after being bed-ridden for three and half weeks recovering from a car accident. Her goal was to get back the fitness level she had when she was the softball player in high school. After attending some classes at Triumph Krav Maga in New Orleans, she was drawn to the physical aggressiveness and the mental toughness that came with it. She started teaching Krav Maga after one year of training and began her amateur MMA career. After 2 amateur MMA fights, Chiasson began training under Mid City MMA in New Orleans. She continued competing in amateur MMA (5-2), as well as amateur boxing (1-0), amateur kickboxing (1-0), and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, medaling at IBJJF Worlds in 2016 at blue belt.

Chiasson's professional MMA career began in 2017, and quickly amassed a record of 2-0, fighting under Cage Warrior Championship and Invicta Fighting Championship. From there, she was invited to The Ultimate Fighter 28 UFC TV series which she was subsequently signed by UFC after her finale win.

She now resides in Dallas, TX training primarily under Sayif Saud at Fortis MMA. Her training camps are split between Dallas, TX and New Orleans, LA. (View coaching staff and gyms here.)
